What You Can andCannot Put in a Skip
When hiring a skip, it’s important to know what materials are allowed.
Construction waste, including bricks, rubble, and tiles, along with non-hazardous office or commercial waste, can also be disposed of in a skip. However, certain items are prohibited, such as hazardous materials (including asbestos, paint, and chemicals), upholstered furniture, carpets, electrical items like fridges, TVs, and microwaves, as well as medical waste, batteries, tyres, gas cylinders, and liquids.
